The song is composed largely from sampled New Zealand native birdsong recorded by Henika on various predator free sanctuaries. It features the Tui as percussion, the Korimako as melodic hooks, the Kokako as chordal harmony and the Kakapo as bass.

All profits from the album go to the non-profit organisation The Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi Inc, the volunteer group helping with conservation on the island where Henika made the majority of her field recordings.
